What qualifies you to represent the people of Hawaii?

Experience, knowledge of all departments/programs in the county, problems/solutions.

What are the top three challenges facing the voters you seek to represent?

Affordable Housing, Infrastructure Improvements, especially traffic and Social Services, including senior and youth services and drug and alcohol treatment programs and public safety.

If elected, what will be your highest legislative priority?

Create new, significant and sustainable revenue sources to address all of the important needs in the county.

If elected, what can you do to improve the lives of your constituents?

I will propose initiatives to bring the cost of housing down and provide our residents with a continuum of housing choices so that they will have a clear path to acquiring the type of housing that they want for themselves and their families, whether it is a comfortable and affordable rental or an affordable home of their own.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I can bring a sense of lokahi to the Council, harmony and balance. I am collaborative, compassionate and determined to finish what we start. I have new ideas and will always work toward a unified vision, be inclusive. I would be most appreciative if our voters would afford me the opportunity to return to the Council to do the best job possible for our county.
